I’ve been reviewing beauty products for a while now, and though I still love reading a good beauty review, I’m so excited to start branching out into other categories such as kitchen and dining. Most recently, SodaStream sent me their new carbonated water maker called the SodaStream Terra, to test and review. I was especially excited to receive this product because I’ve always been an avid carbonated water drinker, and have struggled finding an eco-friendly way to enjoy my favorite beverage.

I used to buy the glass bottles of Perrier at Costco, but would always struggle to carry them around because of how heavy the bottles were and for fear of accidentally breaking one if I was in a hurry to leave the house. Inversely, I would try to buy the plastic bottled version and although it was infinitely lighter than the glass version, it wouldn’t hold the carbonation as well. Needless to say, the SodaStream came at the perfect time.

Setting up the Terra was relatively easy, no batteries or plug in required! All I had to do was insert the CO2 cylinder into the back of the machine, add water to the reusable bottle and then press the button at the top a few times! The instructions recommended pressing the button 3 times for slight carbonation and 5 times for a heavier carbonation, but I found that I wanted mine extra bubbly and pressing the button 7 times gave me the ideal level of carbonation I was looking for.

Looking forward to getting creative with this and testing out other recipes like my favorite drink at Nordstrom’s eBar- the mango pineapple spritzer. Thanks so much for reading and let me know if you’re planning on trying out the SodaStream Terra!
