I was SO excited when I found out I would be receiving Smashbox’s new Vitamin Glow Primer because primer isn’t part of my normal make-up routine! I’d been a fan of Urban Decay’s Original Eyeshadow Primer Potion in high school when I did crazy performance make-up but haven’t been reaching for it as much in my daily work life. My skin is naturally very sensitive and dry so I’ve always been very picky about what products I put on my skin, so you can only imagine how happy I was to find out this primer is specifically formulated with vitamins B, C & E to hydrate the skin and help you achieve a beautiful, natural glow from within!
Every morning after rising my face, I generously applied this primer and followed with my favorite foundation- the Cleu de Peau Radiant Fluid Foundation SPF 24. After a week of using the two products religiously, I was pleased to find that my skin really did look dewy and hydrated. I saw a reduction in flaking skin that I sometimes find around my nose area and the primer always absorbed into my skin quickly without drying it out which I thought was great!
This primer has now become part of my everyday routine and I’d definitely recommend! On days I didn’t feel the need to apply a lot of make-up, I even just applied the primer by itself and my skin still photographed well! For the ultimate no make-up make-up look, I pair the primer with the Thrive Causemetics Brilliant Eye Brightenter and Becca Cosmetics Light Shifter Brightening Concealer.
