I recently got invited to attend a launch event celebrating the new Maybelline x Summer McKeen line of lipglosses! It was my first time attending an event as an influencer and I honestly had no idea what to expect; Linda (bless her heart) agreed to come with me both as my photographer and moral support, and we were surprised to see a huge crowd of fans waiting to get inside. We were immediately let in and told to enter through the right hand side, which lead into a row of cute little Instagrammable backdrops all promoting the new collaboration.

I was amazed at how many art installments they had managed to fit in one parking lot, and how cute they were! Each one had a different summery vibe and all shared the same color palette as the lipgloss collection. I got to see the collection of glosses displayed in between moving from installment to installment, and loved that the glosses came in a wide spectrum of colors, from light pinks to darker browns. While I was hoping to try the whole collection then and there, we were filed through the different art installments fairly quickly and I only had time to try one! I can’t wait to experiment with all of the different shades and report back soon.
