I am so excited to announce that I recently received my very first shipment of beauty products to review as part of Influenster’s Sleigh All Day Holiday Voxbox Campaign! Though I’ve been asked to sponsor and promote products in the past, I chose to work with Influenster because they allow me to honestly review the products I am trying. There is an overabundance of “style bloggers” today that are so eager to be sponsored that they’ll promote anything, even if they don’t truly stand behind what they were promoting; I love that working with Influenster allows me to try new products while also staying true to my self and my brand.

TATCHA Camellia Goldspun Lip Balm 

This is the first Tatcha product I’ve ever tried and now I’m so curious to try the rest of their line! From the moment I opened Influenster’s Sleigh All Day Voxbox, the Tatcha lip balm stood out because of its beautiful packaging and plethora of product knowledge that came along with it. I learned about the history of the brand and how this product was made, which made me feel even better about using it on myself for the first time.

After using this product exclusively for a week, I thought it was good but not great. My lips felt moisturized for the first 2 minutes I applied the balm but found myself constantly reapplying throughout the day to avoid dryness and cracking. I’m curious to try their other products and absolutely love the beautiful packaging!

 

KAJA Cheeky Stamp Blendable Blush

At first I saw the packaging and had doubts about the quality of this product, but it was actually a lot better than I anticipated! I lightly dabbed the sponge along my cheekbones and the color blended right into my foundation without much effort!

The color was a bit dark for my liking but I could definitely see a demand for a cute and highly pigmented product like this! As someone who barely wears makeup day to day, this blush was a little too pink compared to the light brush of bronzer I’m used to. Cute as a gift for special occasions!

BIOEFFECT EGF Serum

I was so happy to see this serum in my Voxbox!! I’ve read a bunch of raving reviews about this serum online but was hesitant to purchase the whole set right off the bat since none of my friends had tried it before.

After using this product every night the last week, I’ve noticed that the area around my eyes is calmer and well moisturized. The amount of flaky dry skin I usually wake up to has diminished and I don’t doubt that this product could be amazing with long time use! I can’t wait to continue using the rest of my serum and reporting back in a few weeks!

 

AVEDA Cherry Almond Softening Shampoo & Conditioner

I must start this review by stating that due to an almond allergy, I could not fully test the product; my rating is based upon having my partner test this product in my place.

First off, the smell is so delicious and intoxicating! I’m always picky with the smell of my hair products so I was pleasantly surprised I liked this one. After continuously using this product for a week, my partner noticed a difference in the texture of his hair- he said his hair didn’t feel as dry or brittle as it did before, and that the smell was nice but not overpowering.
